Hi, I’m Amanda!

Amanda Hanlon, MS

Perinatal Autism Coach

What's your sensory ick?

Competing auditory stimuli and sticky skin

If you were your own client, what would you want to get out of coaching?

A deeper understanding of neurodivergent pregnancy and parenting with an affirming and cozy vibe.

What's your favorite kind of fidget?

Needoh Ice Cube

Any special interests/current hyperfixations you want to share?

Currently in a rotation stage, but my algorithm would say a rotating fantasy series (rereading Throne of Glass now), child development/psychology research, and fun animal/science deep dives. Honorable mention to aliens and "time is not real."

What's a sensory experience that you love?

Snuggling!

Do you have some favorite vocal stims?

I'm not super aware of doing this, perhaps "there you go" or "perfect"

If you could share a few things about your brain with your younger self, what would you want to share?

The intensity of your experience is valid, set some boundaries and use it to fuel your passions.

This or That: Sensory Edition

Gummy Candy or Chocolate Candy? Black Forest Fruit Snacks

Over-the-Head Headphones or Earbuds in Your Ear? Over the head headphones, earbuds might be a sensory ick haha

Smooth or Bumpy Fidgets?  Smooooth

Slime or Playdough? Slime if unscented

Scented Candles or Unscented Candles? Beeswax unscented

We’re grateful to have Amanda on the Endee Coaching Collective team!

As an experienced professional, Amanda brings compassion, evidence-based tools, and strong advocacy to her work.

Her approach centers on utilizing a whole body frame of reference to help neurodivergent individuals (wherever they are on their diagnostic journey) to better understand their sensory system, build skills to optimize self regulation, and optimize their body’s growth and recovery throughout the perinatal process.
