Meet Sarah

Adult AuDHD Coach

Hi, I’m Sarah.

I know you’ve got 99 problems, and even if a bitch ain’t one, I’m guessing your overflowing work inbox, the most recent “I don’t get why you’re upset” snit with your partner, and that Amazon impulse buy are on the list. What do you know? We’ve both had similar problems. I know what it’s like to always feel behind, weird, and like I’m constantly missing something, or was born with the wrong manual for navigating life.

Our origin stories probably look different. Your story may begin with distant parents, failing grades, “excelling at sports”, or being “the weird, quiet one”. Or maybe it began with “A+ student”, “organized”, “conscientious”, or “too sensitive.” Without support, most of us end up in the same place as adults: perpetually confused, exhausted, frustrated, and never quite able to achieve “success.”

Personally, I was forged in the fires of relentless self-criticism, dumpster fire relationships, and fierce independence- not quite Mount Doom, but pretty damn close. Excelling in school and being trained as a therapist masked a lot of my neurodivergence, and I was not diagnosed with ADHD or recognized as autistic until my early 30s.

I went to therapy, and it was incredibly valuable to work through my emotions and understand how my past had shaped me. However, I found that therapy did not bridge the gap between understanding my past and building a successful future. I often got lost in my day-to-day struggles, which meant that I couldn’t even think about my future.

I want you to be successful. I want you to have a future that you can be proud of. The kind where you can look back and say, “I did it”- whatever “it” is for you. Whether you want to become a better leader, a better partner, or figure out how not to drown in a puddle of mediocre ideas while trying to figure out what to eat for dinner, I am personally invested in your success and your future, and I will do whatever I can to help you get there.

Here’s the deal: coaching is a two-way relationship and requires work from both people. I bring my wisdom, skills, millennial-aged humor, (occasionally unhinged) excitement, and creative brain to every session. It is your responsibility to bring honesty and your ideas about your challenges, the limits of what you will or won’t do, and whether or not you’ve been able to follow through with work between sessions.

Highlights of my coaching approach include:

  • Relatability: Expect lots of humor, movie references, and respect for your challenges.

  • Structured sessions: I provide a consistent structure, and we adjust if you need it.

  • Practical suggestions: I won’t recommend anything I haven’t done (or wouldn’t do).

  • Multiple learning formats: We can write or map ideas, talk, go on a walk, and more.

  • AuDHD accommodations: No need to force eye contact, sit still, or make small talk.

  • Virtual or in-person sessions: If you live in Western NC, USA, we can meet in-person.

  • Tailored support between sessions: I provide texts, emails, or calls between sessions.

Unlike many well-intentioned parents, partners, or teachers, I’m not here to nag or criticize you into submission. Will I make recommendations with conviction and gusto? 100%. Can we argue (if needed) and negotiate how you get to your goals? Yep. Will I believe your experiences and what you say you can or can’t do? Without question (unless you’re underestimating or overestimating yourself, in which case, I’ll let you know).

As your AuDHD coach, we can work together to:

  • Strengthen sources of motivation to improve follow-through and completion of tasks.

  • Implement organizational systems to keep you on track for current work or life projects.

  • Build practical communication skills to navigate work and personal relationships.

  • Create flexible, realistic daily routines that you can stick to and work for your brain.

  • Identify and manage energy drains, like sensory overload, decision fatigue, or masking.

  • Break down recurring tasks (e.g. menu planning) into repeatable, manageable steps.

  • Prioritize your short-term and long-term personal or professional goals.

  • Explore how your special interests can support your day-to-day life. (and more!)

Although I hold professional mental health and addictions licenses, I do not practice therapy at Endee. I am an LCMHC and LCAS in North Carolina, and I am also a nationally certified counselor (NCC). I received my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Appalachian State University in 2016. I ran my own practice and specialized in supporting ADHD and autistic adults from 2021-2024, and I have been leading nationally-accredited continuing education programs on Adult ADHD and Adult Autism since 2024.

Just in case you skipped the intro….As an AuDHD coach, I provide short-term, practical, in-the-moment support that is designed to keep you accountable, focused, and moving forward towards your future. A little bit can go a long way. We will make (and follow!) plans, ricochet ideas, occasionally spar back and forth about said ideas, and (most importantly) get you moving. Preferably forward. Or out your front door. You get the idea.

If you’re ready to get started, book a 15-minute discovery call with me below to make sure we are a good fit. (Seriously, don’t skip this). We will talk goals, barriers, logistics, possibly mosey down a brief side tangent, and make sure we can work together effectively. In typical ADHD fashion, I also offer body doubling sessions, advocacy, consulting for healthcare professionals, training, and workshops. See details below for more information, and talk soon!
